HOLLYWOOD, FL – Last year’s Women’s Leadership Workshop at CSC 2023 featured a master class on executive presence. Led by Anne Marie Nest-Pinero, director of Operations and Training Development, Ask For More/ABC Resolutions LLC, the interactive presentation outlined specific ways to boost presence through the voice.

Nest-Pinero unpacked the inequity inherent in the concept of executive presence, while also giving participants research-backed strategies for choosing the right language and speaking it with confidence.

Sponsored by Ankura, Eversheds-Sutherland, and Lendlease, the presentation started the conference on a productive note, yielding solid reviews. “Reactions were extremely positive,” confirms Nest-Pinero. “The community built by this conference is strong. I had some wonderful conversations about what executive presence means and ways to support junior women and men in cultivating it.

“I am cautiously optimistic,” Nest-Pinero continues. “The great news is that everyone I spoke with knows that extra resources need to be invested in high potential women to ensure their rise into leadership. From what I can tell they are eager to provide support.”

This year’s Construction Super Conference is scheduled for Dec. 9-11 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. Another Women’s Leadership Workshop is on the agenda.
