Ethan Tieger is an experienced construction and business lawyer, serving as Deputy General Counsel to Consigli Construction Co., Inc., a leading construction manager and general contractor headquartered in Massachusetts. With a significant presence in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, Consigli executes and performs approximately $5 billion in projects annually, and Ethan plays a pivotal role in navigating the company’s operations across regions. Ethan is a practical-oriented attorney focusing on providing strategic counsel to executive leadership and project teams, guiding them efficiently through construction contract negotiations, mitigation of project risk during buyout and formation of GMPs, and early resolution of claims and disputes both upstream and downstream, all to help ensure Consigli’s projects proceed smoothly. His expertise extends to claims management and dispute resolution of matters, where he manages litigation and arbitration matters and directs outside counsel in developing and executing effective legal strategies. Before joining Consigli, Ethan served as vice president and general counsel to a Florida real estate developer and green home builder specializing in zero energy and multifamily communities, where he led fund formation efforts, structuring of new ventures, securing land use and entitlements, as well as overseeing the day-to-day matters of development. Ethan received his Juris Doctor degree at Suffolk University Law School, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
