Madison Brackelmanns serves as General Counsel for the New York Region at Suffolk Construction, where she oversees legal matters and advises project teams on risk management, contracts, and construction‑related legal issues across the region. In this role, she negotiates and manages complex construction agreements and provides day‑to‑day legal guidance in support of active projects and ongoing business operations.
Since joining Suffolk, Brackelmanns has supported significant regional growth and has played a key role in negotiating major construction contracts and advising on projects currently active throughout New York City. Her practice focuses on mitigating risk, navigating project challenges, and helping ensure successful project delivery from contract negotiation through construction.
Prior to joining Suffolk, Brackelmanns practiced construction law in private practice, representing clients in construction and related legal matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Montclair State University.
Brackelmanns has been recognized in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist New York, which honors leading in‑house counsel across industries in the New York legal market.
