Mark A. Snyder is a Partner in Peckar & Abramson’s New York office. Prior to entering the legal profession, he spent several years working in heavy civil construction, experience that gives him a fundamental, practical understanding of the complex challenges his clients face on a daily basis. He focuses on addressing clients’ real‑world needs by advising on strategic decision‑making to balance risk, mitigate disputes at their inception, and reduce the need for litigation.
Mark has extensive experience representing contractors in the development and litigation of claims arising from complex commercial projects. His practice includes disputes involving construction inefficiencies, delays, differing site conditions, design errors and omissions, extra work, and wrongful termination claims on projects throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He also regularly reviews, drafts, and negotiates construction contracts.
He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a concentration in American Government and Politics, from Trinity College, where he played four years of varsity football. He received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law.
