ATLANTA – After closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and consulting our advisory board, community partners, conference sponsors, and supporters, the team behind the Construction SuperConference (CSC), the 35-year-old leading conference for the construction legal industry, has made the difficult decision to cancel the event, scheduled for December 7-9, 2020, at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Recent developments have made it impossible to bring our community together safely and successfully. This is due to the ongoing progression of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the latest government data, measures, and guidelines on the phased reopening plans in Nevada; current restrictions on congregating and large gatherings imposed by states and other government and public health authorities; and the various company-imposed travel restrictions on employees affecting attendees and participating companies. Maintaining the health and safety of each of our attendees, sponsors, and team members remains paramount to us.
“We are disappointed that we are unable to bring everyone together this December in Vegas, as we know how much everyone looks forward to seeing and learning from each other,” said Kevin Gaffney, group show director, CSC, and vice president, Emerald. “But we believe this was the right decision to make for the health and wellness of the entire community. We remain committed to finding new ways to connect our attendees, speakers, and supporters both in person and digitally, and to provide our audience with the most up-to-date industry education and solutions for their firms and businesses.”
CSC 2021 is scheduled for December 6-8, 2021 at the J.W. Marriott, Orlando, Florida.
