Catherine is a civil engineer and attorney experienced in project development, design, and construction, as well as corporate law applicable to architecture, engineering, and construction firms. She is a licensed attorney in Utah and Colorado. She is currently the in-house counsel for Clayco.
Catherine represented governments, contractors, design professionals, owners, lenders, developers, subcontractors, and vendors. She led negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution for complex projects with values up to $2 billion, including EPC Contracts, design-build contracts, construction management contracts, major equipment purchase orders, joint venture agreements, teaming agreements and other agreements related to commercial construction, power & energy, oil/gas/chemical, mining & minerals, aviation, and agriculture industries. Catherine has significant experience in most areas of corporate law, including corporate governance, labor and employment, environmental law, tax, real estate, and international law. Catherine was a strategic business partner for many aspects of corporate operations during her tenure as in-house counsel for a major construction contractor.
