Dayna L. Anderson, CMA, CFE is the Practice Area Lead for Vertex’s Commercial Damages and Investigations practice and a Senior Managing Director in the Chicago office. Dayna is a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner who assists corporate clients and counsel with complex economic and financial analyses. Dayna specializes in construction matters, forensic accounting, fraud investigations, breach of contract matters, insurance disputes, environmental disputes, and other commercial disputes. She has been qualified as an expert in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration. Dayna is the recipient of AACEi’s 2025 Outstanding Woman award. She sits on the American Arbitration Association Board of Directors. Prior to joining VERTEX, Ms. Anderson, co-founded Breakwater Forensics, LLC.
