Rebecca Klebanoff serves as Vice President and General Counsel of BOND, where she partners with the executive team, senior leadership, and project teams on a broad range of strategic, legal, compliance, and risk‑management matters. Her practice is grounded in deep industry experience gained both as outside counsel and as in‑house counsel within the construction sector.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Klebanoff spent several years working in the construction field at Granite Construction, where she supported some of the largest and most complex projects in the country. This hands‑on field experience provides her with a nuanced and comprehensive understanding of large‑scale construction and utility projects, giving her a distinct advantage as an effective in‑house advocate.
Throughout her career, Klebanoff has led legal departments for a variety of dynamic construction‑industry firms, including a national construction management and general contracting company and a private‑equity‑backed niche consulting firm in the AEC space. Before joining BOND, she practiced construction law at Peckar & Abramson, representing many of the ENR Top 100 construction management firms.
Klebanoff is deeply engaged in the construction community through public speaking, leadership in industry organizations, and mentoring emerging professionals. Her recognitions include being named to Building Design + Construction’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2022, honored as an Outstanding Woman in Construction by the Women’s Builders Council in 2021, and selected as one of ENR New York’s Top Young Professionals in 2018.
She holds a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University.
