Robert Adams is a Managing Director in Vertex’s Commercial Disputes and Investigations practice, based in Irvine, California. He has over 33 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry, holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Claims Professionals (ICCP).
Robert spent the first two decades of his career on construction sites in project controls — initially as a document control coordinator and site scheduler, later as lead planner and project controls lead on multi-billion-dollar mega projects in Canada, the United States, and the Middle East.
For the past 13 years, Robert has worked as a construction delay and claims consultant, advising on construction claims, dispute resolution, project risk, and construction management. He has authored delay, disruption, and damages analysis reports presented at mediation, arbitration, and trial, and has been deposed and testified as an expert witness on several high-profile matters.
