Ted Levin, P.E., Esq., is a mediator, arbitrator and attorney, as well as a registered civil engineer, with 40 years of experience in construction law, professional liability, and dispute resolution. With his comprehensive understanding of the construction industry, combined with his legal acumen, Ted brings insight and skill to his role as an ADR professional.
Ted has a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law. His credentials as a licensed engineer and attorney provide him with a unique perspective in mediating construction disputes, including those involving contract and defect claims, delays and project impacts, disputes over scopes of work, and issues related to mechanics liens.
As a neutral mediator and arbitrator, Ted has handled extensive cases involving construction, professional negligence, real estate, business disputes, personal injury and intellectual property. Ted is also a lecturer and author on topics affecting the construction industry, contract analysis and project risk management, project delivery methods, intellectual property ownership of plans and designs, and insurance issues affecting the construction industry.
